Logística Marítima Integral S.A played a role in a strategic energy project in the country.

Located in Block 6 of the Gulf of Guayaquil, the Amistad Field is Ecuador’s main offshore natural gas field and a critical asset within the national energy mix. Its operation enables the direct supply of gas for power generation and the industrial sector, helping reduce dependence on imported fuels while supporting the transition toward more efficient energy sources.

Development and operations in this field involve highly specialized work in a complex marine environment, where technical precision, logistical coordination, and risk management are essential.

In this context, Mariloginsa acted as a full-service logistics provider, deploying specialized maritime support capabilities for demanding offshore operations.

Scope of operations included:

✅ Offloading of a jack-up platform
✅Hydrographic surveys (bathymetry and sub-bottom profiling)
✅Towage and positioning of offshore units
✅Seafastening studies for fracturing equipment onboard a deck barge
✅24/7 port control and supervision for loading and unloading operations
✅Crewboat and supply vessel operations

Each stage required careful planning, coordination, and adherence to international technical standards to ensure safe and efficient execution in challenging maritime conditions.

A milestone for Ecuador’s logistics industry:

This project represents a significant development for the country’s logistics sector. For the first time, an Ecuadorian operator delivered 100% of the logistics services associated with this type of offshore operation at Campo Amistad, coordinating with international partners and demonstrating local capability in technically advanced projects.

Safety and performance:

Operations were carried out with a zero-incident approach, in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management protocols—highlighting the importance of specialized logistics in complex energy projects.
