In July they shipped a crew boat from origin Flushing to Conakry in Africa.

Routing :

• Pick-up up by barge in Flushing, Netherlands
• Unloading barge in Antwerp Port and arranging shrinkwrapping of the crew boat
• Ocean freight from Antwerp to Conakry

Challenges were the difficult market circumstances we’re all facing today.

No firm vessel / booking confirmed due to space and lifting gear issues for both origin and destination.
Until they received a sudden notification that we had 10 days to deliver the crew boat for catching a Grimaldi vessel that suddenly had space and sufficient crane capacity to unload it at destination.

Within those 10 days, they had to arrange the loading at origin, barge transport to Antwerp, shrinkwrapping operations and all document related arrangements up to Conakry port.
