Heavy Industry Logistics – Successfully Ships Onshore Drilling Rig from the UK to Tanzania

Heavy Industry Logistics Ltd (HiLOG), recently orchestrated the transportation of an onshore drilling rig all the way from Hull, United Kingdom, to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

However, the operation encountered an eleventh-hour twist when the Tanzanian client urgently requested additional oilfield equipment. Despite the tight one-day notice, Heavy Industry Logistics managed to secure extra space and swiftly coordinated the delivery of the equipment from Aberdeen to Kingston upon Hull, ensuring it was seamlessly integrated for loading without any delay.

This successful transfer stands as the second successful rig move for HiLOG in just as many months, underscoring their abilities to execute intricate logistics operations.

Looking ahead, HiLOG will take charge of the operation’s subsequent stages, which involve the clearance process and the final delivery to a site located slightly over 1,000 kilometres away from the port of Dar es Salaam.
