Project News: Polaris Shipping Agencies LLC Commences Pressure Filter Shipments to the Far East

Polaris Projects, the specialized project logistics division of Polaris Shipping Agencies LLC, UAE, has successfully completed the first phase of an ongoing project involving the transportation of oversized pressure filters to the Far East, with further shipments planned.

Measuring approximately 23 metres in length, 4.53 metres in width and 4.50 metres in height, and weighing around 90 metric tonnes each, these units require specialized transport solutions and careful logistical coordination.
To overcome challenges arising from geopolitical uncertainty and the absence of direct vessel services from UAE ports for this shipment, Polaris Projects developed an alternative logistics route designed to maintain project progress while optimizing costs.

The operation involved transporting the filters from the UAE to a storage yard in Oman, coordinating cross-border permits, route surveys, specialized trailers and escort arrangements.
In addition, with port congestion and vessel berthing delays creating further challenges, the team coordinated cargo staging and vessel arrangements to support efficient shipment execution and minimize delays.

Polaris Projects is managing the logistics chain from the UAE to the Far East, including heavy-lift transportation, customs clearance, temporary import and re-export formalities, charter vessel sourcing and cargo-loading coordination

The successful completion of the first shipment highlights Polaris Projects’ expertise in managing complex project cargo movements through careful planning, regulatory compliance and practical, cost-effective solutions.
With further shipments to follow, Polaris Projects continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering safe, reliable and efficient project logistics services.
