Most recently, the team successfully completed multiple shipments for key clients, including the delivery of bitumen storage tanks from the UAE to Mombasa, Kenya, alongside a parallel operation involving hydraulic drilling rigs and accessories shipped from Hong Kong to the UAE for upgrades and onward delivery to the same destination.

These parallel operations highlight Polaris Projects’ ability to manage multi-stage, cross-border logistics with precision, ensuring efficient coordination from origin to final destination.

✅ Smart Import Strategy Driving Efficiency

Acting as Importer on Record (IOR) in the UAE, Polaris Projects facilitated the temporary import of drilling equipment via Jebel Ali Free Zone without customs duties. This enabled the client to complete technical upgrades locally before re-export, reducing overall costs and accelerating project timelines while leveraging the UAE’s advanced infrastructure.

✅ Expert Handling of Heavy-Lift Cargo

The bitumen storage tanks, each measuring nearly 14 meters and weighing approximately 25 metric tons, required specialized handling.

Polaris Projects ensured safe positioning, lashing, and securing on Mafi trailers, while maintaining close coordination with all stakeholders. The cargo was delivered to Mombasa safely, on time, and without damage.
